Did you guys go to Update first and download the apps? The applications that you installed are only launchers. Once they're installed on your AppleTV, you still have to go to "Update" first and actually download the applications from the internet, the same way you have to download the mplayer codecs, etc.

Yeah I did exactly that - I have the same problem as zzztimbo, the application won't launch

Since I'm not really a developer and kind of stumbled into this installation, I'm going to direct everybody to this forum for any questions. Scott Davilla, the developer of the launcher app, posts regularly. You would have to ask him these questions. Sorry, wish I could be of more assistance.

For anyone having the "Exited with Status 6"

ssh into your AppleTV and run
Code: Select all
sudo chown -R frontrow /Users/frontrow/Library/Application\ Support/XBMC/

Just in case people only read the last couple posts, I wanted to reiterate my offer. As far as I know the developer of Boxee does not have a cap on invites so I have no limit to the invites to give out. I have given close to 20-25 already, at least it seems that way. So please don't hesitate to let me know if you want to try it. Even if you don't like it, who cares, it might be fun.
I just started The Apple Media Center Podcast, come listen. All about the AppleTV. I also have an iPhone 3G 16GB, AppleTV 40GB with aTV Flash, and a Fire Core, LLC modded AppleTV 250GB with aTV Flash.

I finally got this all installed and working but attempts to get it to be full screen have resulted in it being *bigger* than the screen. Is there some way to reset it without using the menus since I cannot *see* all the menus?
